Plekonella rara
Taxonomy
Plekonella rara was named by Waterhouse (1986). Its type specimen is UQF 50882 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is UQ L3103, Rose's Pride Mine, which is in an Artinskian coastal sandstone/conglomerate in the Buffel Formation of Australia.
