Taxonomy
Glyptoleda borealica was named by Biakov (1998). Its type specimen is RGU 4/1, a valve (Right valve), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Tenke River right side upper reaches, o.p. 120, Okhotsk Massif, which is in a Capitanian marine siliciclastic in the Omchak Formation of the Russian Federation.
