Taxonomy
Sanguinolites lukjanovae was named by Muromtseva (1984). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Konchim River, Southern Verkhoyan, which is in a Kungurian marine siliciclastic in the Megen Formation of the Russian Federation.
