Cibolites waageni

Taxonomy
Xenodiscites waageni was named by Miller and Furnish (1940). Its type specimen is YPM 16283 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is King 20, Beds 5,7, Cerro Wencelao to El Indio, Las Delicias, which is in a Capitanian marine shale/limestone in the La Difunta Formation of Mexico.

It was recombined as Cibolites waageni by Spinosa et al. (1975), Leonova (2002).
