Lyroschizodus oklahomensis
Taxonomy
Schizodus oklahomaensis was named by Beede (1907). It is a mold. Its type locality is Whitehorse Spring (Kansas coll), which is in a Capitanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal sandstone in Oklahoma.
It was corrected as Schizodus oklahomensis by Newell (1940); it was recombined as Lyroschizodus oklahomensis by Newell and Boyd (1975).
