Cincosaurus cobbi

Taxonomy
Cincosaurus cobbi was named by Aldrich and Jones (1930). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is ALMNH, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Galloway No. 11 Mine, which is in a Westphalian delta plain shale in the Pottsville Formation of Alabama. It is the type species of Cincosaurus.
