Rugaria hessensis
Taxonomy
Chonetes hessensis was named by King (1931). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is R.E. King 107, Hill 5725, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Hess Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Rugaria hessensis by Cooper and Grant (1969), Cooper and Grant (1975).
