Defordia verrucula
Taxonomy
Defordia verrucula was named by Rigby (1984). Its type specimen is USNM 340068 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Locality 3, Quebrada de Portachuelo, first high waterfall, which is in a Kungurian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal wackestone/siltstone in the Palmarito Formation of Venezuela.
