It was recombined as Girtyocoelia beedei by Senowbari-Daryan and di Stefano (1988), Senowbari-Daryan and Rigby (1988), Senowbari-Daryan and Ingavat-Helmcke (1994), Weidlich and Senowbari-Daryan (1996), Rigby et al. (1998), Senowbari-Daryan et al. (2005), Rigby and Bell (2006).
