Polysiphonaria flabellata
Taxonomy
Polysiphonia flabellata was named by Finks (1995). Its type specimen is AMNH 44309 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is AMNH504, Old Word Ranch, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Cathedral Mountain Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Polysiphonaria, Polysiphonia.
It was recombined as Polysiphonaria flabellata by Finks (1997).
