Rallacosta xystica
Taxonomy
Rallacosta xystica was named by Cooper and Grant (1976). Its type specimen is USNM 152976e, a valve (Dorsal valve), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USNM703b, Old Word Ranch, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Cathedral Mountain Formation of Texas.
