Neoglassoceras caucasicus

Taxonomy
Neoglassoceras caucasicus was named by Kotlyar et al. (2004) [Far East Geological Institute (DVGI) in Vladivostok, Russia]. Its type specimen is DVGI 8/820 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Bezymyannaya Ravine, top of Upper Urushten Formation, Malaya Laba, Caucasus, which is in a Changhsingian marine shale in the Urushten Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Neoglassoceras.
