Amphorithalamia cateniformis
Taxonomy
Amphorithalamia cateniformis was named by Senowbari-Daryan and Rigby (1988). Its type specimen is USNM 427417 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Locality J17, Halk el Djemel, Djebel Tebaga, which is in a Wordian reef, buildup or bioherm shale/limestone in the Djebel Tebaga Biohermal Complex Formation of Tunisia. It is the type species of Amphorithalamia.
