Incrustatospongia superficiala
Taxonomy
Incrustatospongia superficiala was named by Rigby and Boyd (2004) [University of Wyoming]. Its type specimen is UW 4026 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is AMNH B6821, Bull Lake, Fremont County, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine lime mudstone/grainstone in the Park City Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Incrustatospongia.
