Aricoceras ensifer
Taxonomy
Adrianites ensifer was named by Gemmellaro (1887). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rupe del Passo di Burgio, calcare compatto, Sosio, which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in Italy. It is the type species of Aricoceras.
It was recombined as Aricoceras ensifer by Leonova (2002), Leonova and Boiko (2015).
