Eupachydiscus isculensis

Taxonomy

Ammonites isculensis was named by Redtenbacher (1873) [DISTRIBUTION: Santonian-Campanian; cosmopolitan.]. It is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Eupachydiscus.

It was recombined as Pachydiscus isculensis by Grossouvre (1894); it was recombined as Eupachydiscus isculensis by Summesberger (1979), Kennedy (1986), Kennedy et al. (1992), Kennedy (1995), Kennedy et al. (2007).

Synonyms

Pseudomenuites katschthaleri was named by Immel et al. (1982).

It was synonymized subjectively with Eupachydiscus isculensis by Kennedy (1995).
