Mortoniceras (Angolaites) gregoryi

Taxonomy
Subschloenbachia gregoryi was named by Spath (1922). Its type specimen is BMNH C.20066, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 2, hill-top above dam, Catumbella, which is in an Albian carbonate limestone in Angola. It is the type species of Angolaites.

It was recombined as Angolaites gregoryi by Spath (1932); it was recombined as Mortoniceras (Angolaites) gregoryi by Reyment (1955), Cooper and Kennedy (1979) and Kennedy et al. (1998).
