Taxonomy
Ammonites kalika was named by Stolickzka (1865) [DISTRIBUTION: Maastrichtian; Antarctica, South Africa.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Gunnarites kalika by Spath (1953), Lahsen and Charrier (1972), Kinger and Kennedy (1980), Henderson and McNamara (1985), Kennedy and Klinger (1985).
