Pachydesmoceras kamerunense
Taxonomy
Desmoceras kamerunense was named by von Koenen (1898). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Elephantenbank, Mungo River, which is in a Turonian carbonate limestone in the Mungo River Formation of Cameroon.
It was synonymized subjectively with Puzosia denisoniana by Solger (1904); it was recombined as Pachydesmoceras kamerunense by Reyment (1955).
