Palermites distefanoi
Taxonomy
Adrianites distefanoi was named by Gemmellaro (1887). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rocca di San Benedetto, calcare compatto, Sosio, which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in Italy. It is the type species of Palermites.
It was recombined as Palermites distefanoi by Vasicek and Kullmann (1988) and Leonova (2002).
