Kamerunoceras eschii

Taxonomy
Acanthoceras eschii was named by Solger (1904). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wohltmannbank, above Diki, which is in a Turonian carbonate limestone in the Mungo River Formation of Cameroon. It is the type species of Kamerunoceras.

It was recombined as Kamerunoceras eschii by Reyment (1954), Reyment (1955), Reyment (1958), Cobban and Hook (1983), Howarth (1985), Kennedy et al. (1987) and Kennedy (1994).
