Maorites weddelliensis
Taxonomy
Maorites weddelliensis was named by Macellari (1986) [DISTRIBUTION: Maastrichtian; Antarctica]. Its type specimen is OSU 38260, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Locality H', Seymour Island, which is in a Maastrichtian marine siliciclastic in the Lopez de Bertodano Formation of Antarctica.
