Dzhulfites spinosus

Taxonomy
Dzhulfites spinosus was named by Shevyrev (1965). Its type specimen is PIN 1478/60, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dorasham 2, Dzhulfites beds, which is in a Changhsingian marine horizon in the Ali Bashi Formation of Azerbaijan. It is the type species of Dzhulfites.

It was recombined as Paratirolites spinosus by Teichert and Kummel (1973).
