Himantoceras lessinianum

Taxonomy
Himantoceras lessinianum was named by Faraoni et al. (1997). Its type specimen is GA063, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Malga Gasparine (Lessini Mts), Biancone Fm, Section A, Bed 17, which is in a Valanginian marine limestone in the Biancone Formation of Italy.
