Parapenascoceras rotundatum

Taxonomy
Titanoceras rotundatum was named by Miller and Unklesbay (1942). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Penasco Valley, Highway 82, which is in a Roadian shallow subtidal limestone in the San Andres Formation of New Mexico.

It was recombined as Stearoceras rotundatum by Miller and Youngquist (1949); it was recombined as Parapenascoceras rotundatum by Ruzhentsev and Shimanskiy (1954).
