Taxonomy
Trupetostroma rectum was named by Zukalova (1971). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Moravian Karst, Lazanky Limestone, which is in a Givetian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Lazanky Formation of the Czech Republic.
