Proterochersis robusta

Taxonomy
Proterochersis robusta was named by Fraas (1913). Its type specimen is SMNS 12777, a partial shell (internal mold of the carapace, plus a partial plastron), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rudersberg, which is in a Norian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Löwenstein Formation of Germany.

It was corrected as Proterochersis robustum by Fraas (1913).
