Gavialis browni
Taxonomy
Gavialis browni was named by Mook (1932). Its type specimen is AMNH 6279, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 1 mile South of Nathot, which is in a Miocene terrestrial horizon in the Siwaliks Formation of India.
