Protactis wenlockensis

Taxonomy
Baliactis wenlockensis was named by Spencer (1922). Its type specimen is Lectotype RSM 1897.32.498 and is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Protactis.

It was recombined as Protactis wenlockensis by Spencer (1927), Owen (1965) and Lewis et al. (2007).
