Prohysteroceras hanhaense was named by Haas (1942) [DISTRIBUTION: Albian; California..]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hanha, near Lobito (Vernay collection), which is in an Albian carbonate limestone in Angola.
It was recombined as Goodhallites hanhaense by Henderson and Kennedy (2002).
