Drepanosaurus unguicaudatus
Taxonomy
Drepanosaurus unguicaudatus was named by Pinna (1980). Its type specimen is MCSNB 5728, a partial skeleton (Nearly complete, articulated skeleton lacking the skull), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Endenna cave, which is in an Alaunian shallow subtidal limestone/marl in the Zorzino Limestone Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Drepanosaurus.
