Diagnosis
| Reference | Diagnosis | |
|---|---|---|
| E. D. McKenzie et al. 2014 | Ancyloceratid heteromorph with crioceratid coiling. Tubercles, if present, in three rows on each side, generally occur on earliest whorls, but variable in extent and may persist to an overall diameter approaching 50 mm but, thereafter, all ribs non-tuberculate. Ribs essentially rectiradiate; those with tubercles usually separated by a variable number of non-tuberculated ones; and only sparse lateral bifurcations at the dorsolateral shoulder. Rib densities increasing from about one, to a maximum of 10–12 at whorl heights of about 30 mm, and then decreasing again to six to eight, with ribs losing definition, on the mature body-chamber. Whorl shape subquadrate, with broader dorsolateral shoulder, to deltoid with gently arched venter. |
