Taxonomy
Thurmannia (Kilianella) superba was named by Sayn (1907). It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Luppovella superba by Nikolov (1966); it was recombined as Sarasinella (Luppovella) superba by Reboulet (1996); it was recombined as Luppovella (Luppovella) superba by Klein (2005).
