Tikoepentapodiscus fabri was named by Ellenberger (1970). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tikoè tracksite, which is in a Triassic terrestrial sandstone in South Africa. It is the type species of Tikoepentapodiscus.

Ellenberger 1972Le pied (gauche ?) montre les 3 doigts médians à peu près parallèles et de même longueur pourvus d'ongles éres mais non crochus, les coussinets, non séparés, forment pour les doigts II, III et IV une sorte de fuseau régulier. Les doigts externes soin l'un très large et volumineux (1?), l'autre en retraIt et écourté (V?).
