E. Casier 1966 | Ephippide connu seulement par une partie de squelette céphalique, caractérise par un important relèvement de la région postfrontale et occipitale de la voute. Région frontale tronquée antérieurement et a aspect caverneux. Présence de piliers de part et d’autre du relevement postfrontal. Préfrontaux très développes, dont la partie supérieure est épaissie et d’aspect caverneux, avec foramen nasal important. Fosses pour les muscles dorsaux très peu marquées. Fontanelles occupant la position normale des deux fosses post-temporales. Appareil operculaire haut et relativement court. Centre d’articulation mandibulaire a distance du bord orbitaire antérieur. Mâchoire inferieure relativement longue mais a dentition faible. |
