Selmasaurus russelli
Taxonomy
Selmasaurus russelli was named by Wright and Shannon (1988). Its type specimen is GSATC 221, a skull, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Selmasaurus russelli type locality, which is in a Santonian/Campanian marine horizon in the Mooreville Chalk Formation of Alabama.
