Taxonomy
Actinostroma quasifenestratum was named by Khromykh (2008). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Tom River, B-8151. Bed 27, which is in a Famennian perireef or subreef limestone in the Peshcherka Formation of the Russian Federation.
