Paleoconus bakeri

Taxonomy
Paleoconus bakeri was named by Flower and Gordon (1959). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USNM 3301, East (Sequoyah) Mountain, which is in a Pendleian marine shale in the Fayetteville Formation of Arkansas. It is the type species of Paleoconus.
