Endostaffella was named by Rozovskaya (1961) [Sepkoski's age data: C Tour-u C Mosc-l Sepkoski's reference number: 79]. It is not extant. Its type is Endothyra parva.

It was assigned to Endothyridae by Rozovskaya (1961); and to Foraminiferida by Sepkoski (2002).
