Taxonomy
Texacrinus hardmani was named by Webster and Jell (1992). Its type specimen is CPC 30683, a calyx, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is BMR KLB11, Mount Hardman, which is in a Wuchiapingian coastal siliciclastic in the Hardman Formation of Australia.
