Taxonomy
Orthotetes perfidiabadensis was named by Etheridge (1907). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fossil Head, Port Keats Mission, Bonaparte Gulf, which is in a Roadian marine siliciclastic in the Lower Marine Beds Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Streptorhynchus perfidiabadensis by Thomas (1958).
