It was recombined as Bivonia decussata by Chenu (1859); it was recombined as Thylacodes decussatus by Mörch (1862); it was recombined as Serpulorbis decussata by Maury (1925); it was recombined as Vermetus decussatus by Richards (1935); it was recombined as Lemintina decussata by Olsson and Harbison (1953); it was recombined as Serpulorbis decussatus by Landau and Marques da Silva (2010).
