Columbella bandongensis was named by Martin (1879) [DISTRIBUTION: Cenozoic; Indonesia.]. It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Columbella (Alia) bandongensis by Oostingh (1935) and van den Hoek Ostende et al. (2002).
