Taxonomy
Parawocklumeria was named by Schindewolf (1926) [Sepkoski's age data: D Fame-u]. It is not extant. Its type is Wocklumeria paradoxa. It is the type genus of Parawocklumeriidae, Parawocklumeriaceae.

It was assigned to Clymeniida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Parawocklumeriidae by Bogoslovsky (1981), Becker (2000), Korn (2006).
