Insulipora elegans
Taxonomy
Insulipora elegans was named by Finks (1960). Its type specimen is USNM 127601 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM707q, Clay Slide, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian marine shale in the Cathedral Mountain Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Insulipora.
