Taxonomy
Jereina ramosa was named by Finks (1960). Its type specimen is USNM 127617 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM707e, Sullivan Peak, Glass Mountains, which is in a Roadian slope limestone in the Road Canyon Formation of Texas.
