Anconastes vesperus
Taxonomy
Anconastes vesperus was named by Berman et al. (1987). Its type specimen is CM 41711, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is El Cobre Canyon, which is in a Missourian/Gzhelian dry floodplain siltstone in the Cutler Formation of New Mexico. It is the type species of Anconastes.
