Jugiaster speciosus

Taxonomy
Palaeasterina speciosa was named by Miller and Dyer (1878). Its type specimen is Holotype MCZ 108063 and is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Jugiaster.

It was recombined as Petraster speciosus by Schuchert (1915); it was recombined as Jugiaster speciosus by Blake (2007) and Blake et al. (2016); it was recombined as Jugiaster speciosa by Blake (2018).
