Afairiguana avius
Taxonomy
Afairiguana avius was named by Conrad et al. (2007). Its type specimen is FMNH PR 2379, a skeleton (nearly complete but weathered skeleton), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Warfield Springs, which is in a Wasatchian lacustrine deltaic limestone in the Green River Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Afairiguana.
