Algerina algena
Taxonomy
Algerina algena was named by Kříž (2008). Its type specimen is JK 11492, a shell (internal mold of left valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Foum Belrem Section, northern margin of the western Hoggar Mountains, which is in a Gorstian carbonate limestone in the Oued Ali Clay Formation of Algeria.
